		<description>The iPad has revealed the PC and laptop as &quot;industrial tools&quot; to me.  Never thought of them that way before.

Jobs nailed the netbook as not being good at anything (except being cheap).  I think that could be rephrased as the netbook is a crippled industrial tool that is trying to be something-it-doesn&#039;t-yet-know-what.  The iPad is the first iteration of that something-it-doesn&#039;t-yet-know-what.

The technocrazi elite (or technonazis, as I call them, having been one myself...) get hung up that the iPad isn&#039;t an industrial tool.  They can only understand it in that context, and it fails in their eyes.</description>
