Next generation smartphones will be launched by LG and Huawei next month from 25-28 February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Mobile World Congress (MWC) will be exhibiting smartphones from various digital companies to showcase their new products available for customers. Companies like LG and Huawei have announced their 5G smartphones to be displayed at the MWC.
LG Corporation is a multinational company with four different business units consisting of Mobile Communications, Home Appliances and Air Solutions, Home Entertainment and Vehicle Components.
LG manufactures a wide range of tablets and smartphones. This year LG is all set to launch a next-generation smartphone allowing you to explore things like never before. LG promises you to provide an experience filled with innovative technology and new features all in one smartphone.
The company has not yet revealed any further details about the smartphone. LG made the big announcement on their twitter and website page providing an insight of the big day.
Another company that will display their technology skills is Huawei Technology.
Huawei Technologies is a Chinese multinational company. Huawei specializes in technology-based products and services, consumer electronics, and telecommunications equipment.
Huawei manufactures smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches. This company has been working on 5G products for some time now. Huawei announced in their official video at 1:11:00 that they will launch 5G smartphones at the Mobile World Congress next month.
Huawei has launched its 5G multi-mode chipset Balong 5000 along with first commercial 5G device powered by it, the Huawei 5G CPE Pro on Thursday 24 January 2019.
Balong 5000 provides a new 5G experience and also supports broadband devices, smartphones, and 5G modules. It supports 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G all in one single chip. Huawei 5G CPE Pro supports both 4G and 5G wireless connections.
Huawei touched another milestone same day by launching one more product named Huawei TIANGANG. This product is the world's first core chip specifically designed for 5G base stations.
Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group said, "The Balong 5000 will open up a whole new world to consumers."
Yu, also said that “Powered by the Balong 5000, the Huawei 5G CPE Pro enables consumers to access networks more freely and enjoy an incredibly fast connected experience.”
Last year in 2018, Ken Hu, Huawei’s Rotating Chairman made an announcement at the Global Mobile Broadband Forum about 5G technology. He pointed out that “5G will start a technology revolution”.
