Osteopathy was invented over a hundred years ago as an alternative to drugs and surgery. Today, root problems are still not addressed, making people sicker. What A.T. Still, physician and surgeon who created Osteopathy, attempted to do in 1874 was heal the body without doing it harm. This was the paradigm shift. In the over hundred years of innovation, the original concepts have been taken even further. What these healing innovators offer is a new perspective on health. The industrialized model of the body as a machine has been replaced with the concept of the body as an intelligent organization of consciousness.
In this course, students will learn how to tap into that consciousness and let it guide their healing.
The classes will focus on:
Answering the body's cry for help.
Connecting to the source of pain.
Offering support to let it go.
Learn how to invite the body to unlock its own mysteries.
