Welcome to the 8 Day Minimalism Challenge! I’m really excited to go through this challenge, with all of you. I’ve been really intrigued by this concept for the past couple of years since I read the book called “The magic of Tidying up” by Marie Kondo. I threw away a lot of garbage, and I gave to charity a lot of things too. And I can guarantee you minimalism has nothing to do with keeping 3 t-shirts max while living in a tent.

Minimalism is avoiding the things that distract you and are occupying space every day. This means getting rid of a bunch of some items. But it also means thinking deeply of which relationships are enriching you and which ones are draining your energy. It means saying no to much more than you’ve been saying. The pressure to say yes to every shiny opportunity exists, but we can’t fall into the trap of accepting every request we don’t really want to be doing. Because of all those projects you say yes to, are keeping you away from your most important work.

So, today, I want to start this challenge to make sure I’ll only keep the things I use, I need, and that brings me joy. For the next 8 days, I’ll be challenging us, to make our lives simpler by only keeping meaningful stuff. And remember, you don’t need to be living in a van to becoming a minimalist!

You can watch all the videos in a row and write the challenges down, or you can watch a video every day for the next 8 days.

My name is Filipa Canelas, and I'm completely obsessed with finding ways to increase my productivity, by doing more in less time!

One of my biggest passions is testing and experimenting with different techniques that might bring me better results. That is why I am constantly searching for new ways to improve the way I learn and study.

I keep track of my productivity experiments so you can be sure that everything I teach here works for me. And there's a big chance it can work for you too!

I'm also really into business! And that is why I focus on reading non-fiction books, that can bring me insights for future projects.

Being an organized person, also helps me keeping a record of my past accomplishments, managing my present desires, and setting my future goals.

I only do things if I'm passionate about them. So you can be sure, whatever I teach here, is something that excites me!

My main goal here is to share my knowledge with all of you! I'm also willing to learn with my students and teachers.

I'm currently taking a degree in Management... oh, and I love coffee!
