Hi, I'm Len.

I'm best known as a speaker, bestselling author, and sales trainer. I am recognized as an authority on referral marketing, business networking, business growth through increased sales and the use of social media to increase sales and brand awareness.

What makes me different is that I bring a wealth of practical experience to my workshops, seminars, speaking, writing and online training. And I'm a big advocate and practitioner of continual learning.

My one-day workshops and online training teach sales skills to non-sales people. That's people who have a great product or service but are not so good at selling that product or service.

The two main reasons for not making sales or enough of them are a lack of sales skills and the fear of rejection. A lack of sales skills can easily lead you to ask for the sale way too early in the sales process and that usually results in a NO which deflates confidence. And before you know it you expect everybody to say no.

Selling in the modern-day marketplace is different than it used to be. The hard sell, foot in the door tactics that used to be used don't work anymore. The internet and social media put paid to that. Modern selling methods focus on the prospect's challenges, wants and needs first, only then offering a suitable solution.

My extensive selling background was developed in the harsh world of construction. I'm often asked, "what's construction got to do with selling?" My reply is "My role was to go out and win business then build it. If we didn't win business we'd have no jobs. Not a nice scenario.

To win business you need to be able to sell. Nobody wins multimillion-pound contracts without an awful lot of client confidence and belief in you and that you can deliver what you've promised. And however you wrap it up, that's selling".

I am not about theory, I'm only interested in 'what works'. In a nutshell; I teach a simple but effective seven-step sales process and procedures that will help you to understand how to win more customers, who spend more money when they shop and are happy to come back more often.

My mission is to change how the world perceives selling and to encourage people from all walks of life to think and act entrepreneurial and use their talents to create better lives for themselves and others.
