Hi, welcome to 20 moves in 20 days beginning valet, I want to start off by showing you a few stretches that are really great to do before you do any of the moves. Now, I when I teach classes, I'm going to always start with these moves no matter what else we do in the class, because these stretches really help get you warmed up, get your body ready to move, make sure that everything's a little bit looser, a little more limber. You can choose to do them or not, but I would recommend starting each day that you want to learn a new move with these stretches. It's gonna really help you. Okay, so we're gonna face a bar doesn't have to be a bar itself. It could be anything, a counter, stool, chair, whatever, anything that will kind of help support you.

We're going to actually face that. And the first thing that we're going to do is we're going to step back with our right leg. We're gonna do a nice deep calf stretch. So I want you to stay here for about eight counts, so we're going to count 12345678. Then we're going to switch. So my back leg is straight, my front leg is bent, and again 12345678.

From here, I'm going to push back, my right leg is completely straight, my butt is flexed, but my left leg is bent. And I'm going to really just sort of sink into that stretch this you're going to feel it in your calf but a lot of it's going to be in your hamstring as well. So we're going to count 12345678 and then switch to the other side, we count 123 45678 now we're going to do a quad stretch holding on to your ankle 12345678 switch 12345678. Now we're going to do right leg over our left knee, we're going to really sink into that right hips and the more that you can really turn out your right leg, bend your left knee, everything needs to be just really straight down. We're going to count 12345678 and then switch 12345678 good, standing tall. Press circle or head, we're going to go 12345678 again 12345678, reverse that 12345678 again and 12345678 shoulders back.

2345678 Again 12345678 stepping back one and two, three and four, five and six. And seven and eight. Good job. You finished your warm up. You're ready to dance. I'll see you in the course.
