We're gonna look at Goal Seek. And what I'd like to do is have a new product come into the marketplace to have enough revenue to have our profit be 50,000. So our goal is 50,000. And as a profit, so you'll see that this is a formula that subtracts income from expenses. So, gotta have a formula I do, I'm going to change the cell and before to force that to be 50,000, at least attempt to, on the Data tab, you'll see a group called What if analysis and there is right here, what if analysis Goal Seek Okay, so I set the cell A, B 16 to the value 50,000 by changing this is my selfie. For when I hit OK, I get this solution of $23,040.

It's gonna subtract out to this. That's pretty cool here, I'm gonna do another quick example here. What I like to have here is all of my debits equal 636 47. And all of my credits to be the same number here, some off a little bit here. So I want to change that this cell right here to equal 647. Okay, so I go to what if analysis Goal Seek, I'm going to change this value here to 657 won't let me click on it, I do have to type that in there.

So 650 6.47 on the.by, changing the cell I 11. Hit OK. And boom, just like that, we get our result here. That is a great tool when you're trying to figure out what the value input would be. to force a formula sell where you want to be
