Guys, Welcome to clause 10 of the five limits beyond the lebrons. And in this class, we're looking at the way out. We're going to touch on what I call the playground. So there's the labyrinth, and then there's the playground. Two vastly different experiences. So what happens when we play in life?

Well, first thing is we're just completely absorbed in what we're doing in the moment. Just really embracing what is happening. And we feel good. Even though sometimes it might be challenging, so we love it. And here's another key thing is there's there's no real end goal. It's just applying because it's fun and it's good and it's challenging.

And out of that a story as it emerges or evolves like this experience of Discovery. And the other thing is about plays we just practice. So we're really trying to get out of here when we play, we're not necessarily looking for the result. We're just enjoying the experience of being good. And seeing where that goes. And in life, we can do that naturally.

In other activities that we do that we just get naturally absorbed in. New sports can be like that for us. making art can be like that. music, dance, you know, even going to the movies. conversations can be like that. You know, or at work, we find our work really meaningful.

And then yeah, we can get really absorbed in our work. But we can always find that we have that sense of play. So there are three practices really, that we can go back to, that can help create that sense of play. And in these practices is what's naturally happening when we get into that sense of play. Anyway, there's these three fundamental things. There's awareness, self approval, and authentic desire.

So I'm gonna break these down, just very quickly. What is awareness? So awareness is when we step out of our thinking minds, and we just present to the moment and we have a natural focus and clarity. And we get insights into problem solving. They just, these answers just come to us. Just think about it too much.

We're generally we're very connected to our bodies. Self approval is acceptance of our experience and permission to feel sensations, feelings, and emotions. Self approval is very powerful because it turns resistance. That is the things we don't want to feel into harmony. So for example, you might be angry. And in resistance to that when you get into approval, Ganga suddenly doesn't feel like anger anymore.

It just feels like this really boy energy that wants to take action on something. It's actually a feeling of empowerment. And so, self approval is like that includes what we feel in the trap in the cage all our fears, under under control. So we want to we want to practice and all those experiences that I've been talking about in the laboratory 500 And what that allows us to happen is it connects us with that deeper experience. And our authentic desire can emerge. So, like I was saying, we go from anger to impound.

So sending desires is what I described as the feeling we want to experience in our pursuit of material or objective design goals. So if you want to win, the winner, the football game that you're playing, there's a feeling of elation that you want to feel maybe in winning that feeling elated is an authentic desire. And the thing about authentic desire is what I've discovered, in working with clients over the years now, through a very particular practice, is that if it was a relation that you wanted to feel in your life, you can feel up here and now that I have to play the game football feeling. It's just there already. So that's a very simple example, that all of the things that we're pursuing, yeah, I'm talking about the five adversities or like, feel and experiencing, in, in money, in relationships in our careers and our bodies and our sexuality.

There's a feeling that we're chasing. And all those feelings are basically inside of ourselves. You don't have to go and make a million dollars to feel that feeling. You don't have to get the dream girl to have that feeling. You don't need to dream career, to have that feeling. It's all there within you.

So that's what I'm saying. We want to achieve our goals to feel something and all we need to experience our authentic desire is awareness and self approval and attention attention to what arises out of that. In the beginning, a specific practice ICT can help you in that port. These are for years. And generally There are five themes of course centric design, in this pace, freedom, empowerment, creation and beauty. And it's called authentic desire because you have to feel it, for it to be authentic.

From the idea of what you want to feel. It's not what you think you might want to feel. Then find your authentic desire thread through thinking about it. It's found in a seed of your desire and wanting that are in the body. And it's very unique to you. It's called authentic design because it comes from your experience, you have to describe it in terms of a meaningful fit for you.

And, you know, I spoke about the five common things that seem to emerge from connecting to our authentic desire He's freedom impoundments creation and beauty. Now just to share one Yeah, one interesting thing that came to me when I started mapping This was you know, I, I wanted to feel I realized I wanted to feel one of my authentic desires of wanting to feel a little bit dangerous in my life. And that was interesting because, you know, as soon as I started to feel that feeling it I naturally wanted to take certain actions in my life that would normally have been really confronting for me to take. And eventually I realized, feeling a little bit dangerous is actually how I related to my power or empowerment to the idea of power for a long time. Growing up, it was a bit of a dirty word. It was something I didn't want to I didn't want to be in a place Power Authority which goes back to the control game that I like to play, which is about the system.

So I just wanted to be friends with everyone and help people. So, so that's, that's what that's one of the things that's very interesting about this. So there are always these five themes that come up. So we find ways to describe them that are actually very meaningful to us. And it creates what I call the desire tree. There are the authentic desires at ground you the authentic desires and empower you that are like the trunk of a tree.

There's a sense of creation and possibilities that are like the branches. Then there's the beauty which is like the flowers or the fruit of the tree and It's a good description of authentic design. So sending designs, it's very organic, it's always evolving and growing. You can map it and you can start to name these authentic designs that start coming up for you. And you'll feel them in different ways every day and depending on what's happening in your life and how you're getting into approval of what's happening for you, different things are gonna have different authentic desires will come up. And you know, over time they change as well.

You start to use different names to describe your authentic design. I don't have time to go into all of you know, some designs it blends but I want to talk about the first one that comes up for pretty much everyone I've done these practices base and done this mapping process with the first thing that comes up for everyone is peace as just this fundamental desire that we really need a scenario he finally started to understand for myself how important paces for for him for us in our life and the the ability to feel peace in the face of adversity. So when you're being challenged by adversity, you can start to feel as authentic desire, get into approval of what's coming up and just rest in this pace that's coming up, or at least the pace that you relate to. And it really minimizes the impact of the trap.

It actually allows you to move through it very quickly. And it's amazing you stop trying to play safe and living from the cage. If you can feel peace in your experience, it allows you to stop expressing yourself a lot more. With your pace in the face of failure and all of your fears, rejection, being weak. All of those fears that come up, you can start to feel pace. And you can stop playing these control games, which is this beautiful thing.

And something else emerges instead of playing control games. And it's like this, it's you know, Alan Watts has this beautiful quote that I came across. So it's not about the pursuit of happiness, the happiness pursuit in our natural places, you feel peace. And then you pursue life from that place rather than trying to get all this stuff done control things. So you can be safe and have that pace and actually like the is a correspondence between the authentic desire and those five bars of the cage as I like to say, we settle for safety rather than feeling peace. And the safety there are conditions with enough pace.

There are no conditions other than your ability to connect with it, to find it and to live from that place it's practicing. So we can practice those three things in the playground. We can live with awareness in the moment, in approval of what's coming up, more feeling connected to a sense of authentic desire and living from that taking action from that place. We start to move into what I call the kingdom, which is all about power, authentic power, flow, and synchronicity. So join me for the next class. It's getting really into Trusting now
