The Eagle Focus Sequence is all about crossing the mid-line. Crossing the mid-line is important because it helps the two hemispheres of the brain work together, which assists in learning, thinking, processing information, taking tests, focusing, and more. To bring quick and easy focus to your day, we put together these four activities, which include: a breathing exercise, a yoga pose, and a game. The entire sequence can be done in just ten minutes, or you can break it up in a way that works for you and your classroom.
The target of this activity is for educators to use it with their students in a classroom setting. This can be done with a few kids, or in a large group. Students and teachers are stressed out, unfocused, and needing a much-needed brain break. This ten-minute activity is the perfect break in the day to get students and teachers refocused while also having fun.
