Why you need to write an E book now? Today is the best time to write an E book. We are currently living at an opportune time, where information is most searched and found online. Every media has just got to have a digital version. Whether it's a book, a manual, textbook, report, image, or any type of document, an electronic or digital version is a must. That's why people tend to Google things or type their keywords in search engines when looking for information.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those of us who have got a lot of information to share. If we learn to package our information in A smart way where people can find them and get a copy for themselves so that they can get answers to whatever it is that they need. This is a great way to help them and at the same time, create income streams that would allow us to keep on creating new information for them. Wouldn't that be great? As you can see, it's shown according to each publisher, in here, research shows that per 100,000 ebooks sold in Amazon on a daily basis a staggering 42% are published by indies or independent publishers. This is good news for you and me. And for those who want to engage in ebook writing and publishing this year, this graph that says the number of ebooks sold in the United States from 2010 to 2016. The sales peaked in 2013 at 242 million units sold and continued strongly now giving us healthy projections. Let's continue. The US e book market was foreseen to surpass the printed book market in 2017, based on a projection by Price Waterhouse, Coopers The E book market actually kept on growing.

Here's a graph showing the E book market growth and also the shift in consumer dollar spending. According to a website, author earnings.com we can see that small media traditional publishers are capturing more total consumer dollars for the first time. Well, the demand for ebooks keeps on growing. In here, the graph shows ebook sales as a percentage of total book sales worldwide. By 2018. ebooks represent about 25.8% of total book sales around the world. It's so huge that it has influenced the way we consume information and use our reading time.

To give you a picture of how the English language ebook sales currently look like worldwide. Here it is. Total ebook sales by country and retailers. United States holds 42% of the total sales and United Kingdom and Canada are next with 34%. Australia contributes 20% and New Zealand 20%. Another one, although this survey only covered ebooks that are paid downloads of digital electronic versions of a printed book and did not necessarily start as ebooks.

Let us see anyway. The point that I'm trying to make, which is the high demand of electronic books, according to a survey of ebook sales worldwide, by statistics.com, the revenue amounts to $10.8 million in 2016 alone. It is expected to grow year by year until 2021. By 4% in a market volume of $13.1 million. And for the last graph, this one shows the increase in ebook sales per year in the United States alone in billion dollars. Notice the consistency of its growth progression through the years and I believe it will just continue to increase afterwards because of the advancement of our internet and digital technology.
