Okay, since at the moment, you can't join my email list and see the exact sequence that I use inside sales funnel secrets. And I don't want you waiting for the book or anything. So we're actually going to go through chapter six of the super soap sequence. And what I'm going to do is just give you examples of how I built out my soap opera sequence. So you can see how I've set the stage. I entered in at that point of high drama filled in the backstory after that showed people how I hit some sort of wall probably the same wall they're experiencing or hitting right now or have already hit before.

And then bam, I'm going to introduce my epiphany and that one thing that lets that polyphony in the huge change inside my life. After that, then I'll introduce the hidden benefits finally leading to that call to action and why they need to get whatever I'm offering right away. So there's a lot of ways like I talked about to give that urgent call to action. Mine, of course, is a physical book, where I say hey, limited number of copies, but if you have a digital item, you can actually go through and say, I'm going to be taking this away, I'm going to be raising the price, we may, you know, be removing the page or the course itself. My favorite way to of course include this is get this now because when it's gone, it's gone. It's a, it's a truthful statement.

It's always true. When it's gone, it's gone. It's absolutely truthful in and of itself. When the thing is gone, it's gone. So it could be 100 years from now 100 days from now 100 hours from now 100 seconds from now, whatever it is, when it's gone, it is gone. So that is a very powerful statement that's still triggered inside of people's minds that Okay, I need to get this you know, it's an urgency, there is something behind it, that I need to get it now or else I'm going to lose out on it forever.

And that's what you need to in place inside your readers minds when you do that. They really start buying. So let's go ahead and go through. So like I talked about Andre chaperon is the one who really taught me how to do this. And then Russell Brunson actually took it compacted it, I twist it, a little bit of both of them together, made the super soap opera sequence. And it really does settle better than a 50 day or a 30 day email sequence like Andre tried to do and build people up towards hey, here's why you should listen to me, here's why I'm so helpful for you.

By the end of 30 days, most people may have given up on whatever you were trying to get them involved in. So it can be a big thing that you know, you just want to compact and make it quicker and more poignant. So what I do is, I reduced it to again, really five days or five emails four days really because email one is setting the stage, they get that immediately after, you know, they're going to get their freebie that they signed up for right which may have been a video a PDF, or an E book, whatever it was, they get that then there's an email from After that, and it starts setting the stage and it says, Hey, this is Zach, I wanted to officially welcome you to my world. It was about 10 years ago, I first began my online business while enrolled on college of selling how to jump higher ebooks.

What was once a hobby soon became an obsession. All I'm trying to do throughout here, I'm just gonna kind of take a step back from all of my, my emails, I'm going to be breaking down for you, and kind of explaining why I wrote what I wrote. So you can get the same ideas, the same framework inside your emails as well. So I was just letting them know obviously, I'm in the make money online niche. The basic thing, my end result is I want you guys to buy my book, that's all it is. My call to action is there's a limited number of copies at the end, you need to buy it, or else you know, you'd have to wait four or five weeks for my publisher to send it back.

Then I have to send it to Amazon and Amazon sends it to you, and it's a huge thing. So all I'm trying to do is get people properly set up to buy my book And by doing that most the people I'm trying to speak with are trying to also make money online selling usually their own expertise. You yourself watching this video, you have expertise, you've probably seen things I haven't even seen. And I've been in this internet business for more than a decade. And there's always amazing ideas that people can offer to me as well that I would buy. So if I'm willing to buy it, and I've been in this industry for more than a decade, by golly, don't you think that people who have never experienced online marketing or whatever the heck you're about to introduce to people, don't you think they would want to be buying that or at least interested in it?

Because they don't know what they don't know. Right? And that's all I'm trying to get people into as well. I'm trying to get them into that. Hey, I sold an ebook on how to jump higher. That's silly, right?

But it was an obsession because I love dunking and playing basketball as you can see back there. But I ended up turning what was a hobby into a passion. So I'm just shifting That perspective for people that hate what you have as well as you know, what you think is I can't change this, I can't do this. I'm letting you know, you can and that's setting the stage right? So I started selling all kinds of different things online quickly became a student of marketing right and going through telling the story setting stage. All of my other businesses are wary split test and try new stuff out.

Absolutely true. If you guys don't know already. Well, I have my own brand. Zach Miller, I have a lot of other companies. I try not to talk about them too much because I don't like people headhunting things and, you know, just getting off topic. But I try out a lot of stuff inside, you know, my SEO, my marketing firms, my advertising firms.

Yeah, those are all different things. They have different clicks to them. But I test things out, right. So I'm getting people in the mindset of Listen, if you've seen or heard me from somewhere else, because I've been online for 10 years before I introduced tried to introduce my own brand, Zach Miller, sales, funnel secrets and all the teaching that I do. First just a marketer, somebody you know who, who create courses, but you don't know me for what I really love, you know, creating sales funnels and businesses for people. So if you don't, I'm letting those types of people now, right I'm setting that stage and this is also people who maybe want to jump over to another niche, you're passionate about something and you want to get into it.

You can say, hey, I've tested all these things out over here. And they still apply over here, right? So I started selling all these different types of things. All these businesses are where I try my new stuff out sales phone secrets is where I share what I've learned. That's what the books about my goal is always to give stuff better for free than what other people are charging for. Then I go in fact, I'll do just that.

Yes, I'm gonna let you get my best product for free and then you can only pay me if you think it's worth it, but only if you open my email when it comes. Now this you don't always have to include I did personally and what this was was a free trial to my my course for it was like four and a half, five, five and a half hours of just training and it was called sales. funnel secrets live, I go through, I cover everything inside this book and more, I go into my back end, I go into how to build out the funnels, I even give you guys like different shortcuts and all types of stuff. But it was still something where it's a free trial, and then I can monetize it. So that was my my way to monetize on day two, but you have to give it for free.

And it has to be a trial for you know, so many x days, you know, 10 days, 15 days, 25 days, whatever it is. And then when people go over, they watch that if they enjoyed those, you know, that event that you gave, or that course that you're training on, they can pay and if they don't, they just email, whatever that email is at the end of the course that you introduce, and they can get their money back. But they have to watch the course to get that. So that's one of my secrets that I learned from one of my gurus. I was like, Oh, I'm getting all these returns, you know? Well, did the people actually watch it?

I don't know. Well include that return email at the end of your video. We only want someone's gone through it gotten the big picture. If they don't like it, then then they can get their refund. And then they have a reason to not like what you've talked about Zack, and I go, you're right. But people shouldn't be mad at me.

If they never viewed my materials. It goes, exactly, that's what most returns are. So if you end that email, and video with, by the way, guys, if you didn't enjoy this material, just contact us at this email. And this is where you get your refund. We don't accept refunds anywhere else except for here for this and then bam, haven't gotten refunds since because people who stick all the way through five hours of training are going to love the training for whatever amount that you pay for. So that's what I do.

And that's how I monetize insight email, too. So I mean, why are you so much material you're going to feel obligated to buy stuff from me in the future. Just kidding, kind of Not really. But you know, just like if you enjoyed my free materials, you're going to love who I am and you're going to want to buy my stuff in the future. And, you know, at the end of the day, I'll always offer stuff for free enough probably where people can be successful without getting $1 of my help, but they're going to be way more successful if they get that. So I go ahead and I say cool sound good.

I ended with a thanks, Zack, you know, your marketing friend Miller. And I just let them know what the subject lines going to be for email number two, then we enter the point of high drama, right? You don't talk about hey, I walk down this dark alleyway and then blah blah blah then you start out with had a gun pointed right to my temple or my third eye. You know, I could see it was as big as this the gun barrel looked like a cannon. Eventually, sweat was dripping down my face. I knew these were the last seconds of my life unless I acted quickly.

That's how you start a story. It's not you know, boy, let's have this pan across of scenery that no one cares about. That's exactly what most movies that aren't good start off as. But when you have a blockbuster sorry about blockbuster thriller, you're going to end up starting at the top the action. And that was something that I learned inside of actually story printer. That was a very awesome story selling course, David Hogg actually taught it paid $7,000 just to get his help you guys don't have to pay that $7,000 you get to learn all of this right here for just one Low, low price.

So then we go into the back story, the back story finally fills in like I've talked about why you're at that point of high drama. How did you get there? Well, I left my house, I wanted to go get something I turned down the wrong alleyway, boom, I got mugged. So here's my example of what I do. So I got my engineering degree failed me. Where am I?

How did I get here? I looked down to the University of South Florida football field more than 1000 bodies were strewn about. Couldn't believe this was how it was ending. I've been blindly following the status quo 14 years like cattle product towards one goal, but find out in the middle of the slaughter line, the whole thing was a lie. I look to the left and I look to the right. I saw almost 1000 students who are about to graduate.

Now I'm starting to fill in the backstory, right? It seemed like 1000 bodies strewn about slaughter line, you know, it seems like oh boy that see how it doesn't have to be a gun pointed to your head, but it can seem like it's a gun pointing to your head. Oh, my goodness. Was there a massacre? Did someone die? What happened?

You know, what was it? And then you go, No, it was just people graduating. I was worried. Not for me, but for them. Because they all had smiles on their faces, didn't they? No, no what was about to happen?

I give the year. It was the day I finally made a choice to leave college. My parents weren't proud of their child at that moment. You need to get a college education so you can get a good job. I knew it was true, but I love the idea of controlling my own salary. And what about after graduation?

That's when you and I both met the real world. We quickly found out it's not very nice. Not very friendly, or forgiving. Most of my former classmates graduated, if they were able to find jobs, they were going into entry level positions, making maybe $40,000 a year, just barely enough to cover those monthly payments for student loans, which, by the way, just this tag along, just met up 10 years later after this, I just have met up with some of my, you know, old college roommates, they still are paying off hundred and $75,000 loans to this day, to this day. And oh my god, I just couldn't imagine Could you imagine having that type of debt over your head not being able to be able to pay it off because you have a job that's barely making ends meet? That's terrible.

So and this, by the way, loans in the US are unforgiving. Even if you declare bankruptcy, you still have to pay those student loans. So that slavery, poor job markets, the climb of corporate ladder, that's the real world that we all inherited. You and I both no matter where you are in the world, it's probably just like Like that. So when I saw my previous classmates, Highlander graduation day, at first I was confused, not for me, but for them. So you can start seeing how I'm shifting the perspective of, I knew what I was going do.

I knew my next step less than two years earlier, I stumbled on a cool way to take things I love doing my everyday life and turn those things into a business. Now I'm getting into how to make money online, how to turn your expertise into something that you can actually sell. Because for me, I knew what my next step was, I'm sorry. My first business made me over $100,000 by the day, my classmates had graduated. So I made $100,000 enough to pay off the student loans that all of my college I think there's only two that have been able to pay it all off that got loans, full loans, only to be able to pull it off. And most of them have 5070 $500,000 loans still for college.

So to be able to say by the time they graduate high made $100,000 in 10 years later, they still haven't made $100,000 that's a huge thing to say to people, it's just the way that you frame it right? $100,000 I worked two and a half, almost three years for that. So it's not that great, right. But the fact that I did it all myself and online, and it was all mine profits, because it was a digital product. That was a huge thing. For me.

That was huge. And a lot of people, you know, it's just positioning. Sure it took me two and a half years to make $100,000, which is a 37 to $40,000 each and every year, right? That's not that bad. But to be doing that online for yourself, and not have to go out there and do a nine to five. That's really awesome.

So that's how I reframed it, right. It's something that wasn't that spectacular, really. And I made it spectacular through the way that I framed it to make $40,000 online each and every year. I mean, you can do that by going and working on Fiverr Upwork you know, a Udemy Making your own courses, all that stuff. I think almost everyone could do $40,000 pretty easy. Now is that enough to make you serve it probably enough to survive but not thrive and not have a real business.

But when you frame things correctly, what seems like not that gradient of achievement to other people is absolutely fantastic. It's all about how you frame these things. It's all about positioning for your expertise. So I want you guys to even think about that. That. Yeah, I made $100,000 but didn't just do it overnight.

All right, it seems like it right. But it took me about two, two and a half years. So you know what I want found out? Would you like to know how I was able to get my idea up and running with almost no money while I was going to school playing basketball, spending time with my friends and fiance. See, I'm still repositioning so that's like, yeah, it did take me two, two and a half years to make $100,000 but I also were still going to school. I had a fiance I was dating.

I was playing basketball got redshirted. You know, I was working out. I was all the toward the types of things that everyone normally has to do, and I was still able to get this done. So it kind of, you know, increases that wow factor, whatever you have, no matter how hard your life is, if you have a disease that you're going through, or whatever it is, you know, let people know, that's the wow factor. The fact that you are you going through what you've lived through, is the wow factor. But unless you tell people about it, how the hell are they supposed to know you have to tell them and you have to tell them in as few words as you can.

And mind you, these first five emails are quite long compared to my daily emails. But I'm trying to put as much information as keep in people's, you know, hemispheres as possible within those first five emails. And most people do read these emails more than they read even my Seinfeld emails, because there's a lot more emotion involved in it. There's a lot more story. There's a lot more ideas and bonding and things that happen, the people relate to. So I just want you to know you Get as much as you can out on paper, and then start consolidating it down to as few words as you can, the most powerful words.

But to start, put it all out there, put your entire life story out there, and you're going to start coming along and going well, that's not important. That's not important. This sticks to these topics and this does too. And, you know, oh, I can make this shorter. You know, these turn these four sentences into one. And that's what I did for my emails as well.

It took some time, but your soap sequence is so important because this is your autoresponder sequence. This is what goes out automatically when someone signs up. Now after those five days, someone will then be segmented and transferred over to what I call your Seinfeld email list. And those are the people who get your daily emails, your broadcasts, right one time emails, and that's where they get sold. So with that being said, going back, so if you look for my email tomorrow, I'm going to show you my epiphany, but most importantly, I'm going to explain how you can use it to get similar results in your life. Wow, what was it What was it that he did and then This is how I monetize inside that next email.

PS I almost forgot yesterday I said, I give you my best product for free. You can get it here, but don't share it with anyone else. This is my faithful subscribers only. So kind of a cool thing that I did there. Then I go through. I have my epiphany, right?

I got to tell people, what was it that I learned that was so darn important that you need to as well? Well, here it was. I was laying in my bed figuring out how much I was going to make as a computer engineer after graduation, some pretty decent money plugging numbers away in my head trying to do the math to figure out how much I'd make per hour. I assume I would be making about 70,000 per year when I started out entry level, right? So if I was working 40 hours a week, then I was probably going to be making about $35 per hour. And I thought back on this how to book that I purchased just the day before.

And it was a lot for college students. I'll admit that but it was worth it. I paid $37 for the books so awesome to me. The guy wrote it had come out publicly on the affiliate platform. Clickbank I talked about this in my other courses even and showed shown that he had sold on average 200 copies of that book per day 200 copies. Now I started doing the math and $37 per book, he was making about $7,000 per day, or $2.7 million per year.

To make that much money. I always believed that you had to do something illegal for a living, you know, it felt a little dirty, kind of like robbing a bank. And he was just giving it away this dirty secret to riches. But the craziest part is the only spent a few days writing that book. And once he was done, he never had to write it again. The book did the rest forum teaching on autopilot.

He just made it once and he got paid for it over and over again. That's when I realized I didn't want to sell my knowledge by the hour like all my classmates were doing. I wanted to sell it like this author, and that's what I did. So by the time my old classmates graduated, because I dropped out if you guys don't know, that's part of my story. I'm a dropout. I hate school, I don't have much of a great education.

And that should give a lot of lenient and credence credence towards how possible it is to make money online. In fact, I want most of you guys to kick my ass in the amount of money that you can make online because I'm sure that there's so many more ideas that improve the world that are very vital to the existence you know, clean water efficiency, you know, energy efficiencies, things like that. Boy, you can make probably a few hundred million dollars with a great idea like that. You just need to know how to story sell yourself and get that product in front of an audience. So that's what I did. By the time like old crap classmates graduate.

I had made just shy of $100,000. And within a year of graduation, I built my first six figure business. I did this all by focusing on one thing selling my knowledge the right way. Would you like to know how I did it? If so, I just posted a video online they'll show you I took $100 in a simple idea and turn it into a million dollar how to business. Now again, this is going back Just monetizing, how I actually use sales, funnel secrets, everything that I've learned.

And I go through it my sales funnel secrets, live course for five, five and a half hours. So that's the way I monetize these early emails, if you don't have something like that, right now, that's all right, you can make something, record something one day, you know, go on YouTube Live, just teach everything that you know, for as many hours as you can go, right. And then once that's done, bam, make it private, or you know, unlisted. And now this thing is hosted on YouTube. So you don't have to pay for the huge bandwidth of a 656 hour video. And then you can do the exact same thing, hey, I'm going to show you everything that I know, inside for free and all you have to do is sign up here.

And it's a free trial, right? If they love it, they pay for it, you know, maybe a day or two later. If they don't love it, just watch the video. At the end. There'll be an email where you can get your refund. Nuff said.

So that's how I monetize my emails. Head of time, otherwise most people end up doing it inside their Seinfeld sequence. Number four, the hidden benefits. So, when I became an expert, I was scared. I guess I was scared because I didn't have any credentials or degrees to show, right? I was a college dropout.

I was 18 years old at the time. Who the heck am I? Well, I understood that. I mean, I have a lot of expertise that no one else has experienced before. And being able to put that on paper and why it made me different from other people who hadn't experienced these things. That's what sold me initially.

After that, then of course, I learned how to build up my expertise and position myself even better. So that even sometimes the mundane things you know, making $100,000 in two, two and a half years I'm sure you guys do that yourselves. But it gave me my start. It gave me my positioning. Hey, before I graduated college, you know, I made $100,000 most people will be like, Oh my God, in fact, every college student who heard that ended up learning more about my course because they were in college, right? They related to that.

So there's people in your positions that would relate to your story as well and will buy you because you're you. That's it. So I just knew what I knew that it works. And I wanted to share it with others. That's as simple as it's gotta be guys. You don't have to be credited or accredited by somebody, you know, else out there.

It's just what you know. But what was unique was how helping people get what they deserved in life, actually helped me achieve more in my life than ever before. And that's just something that's always gonna be true. That's what Zig Ziglar taught me. When I was like eight years old, I got to talk with him and he, oh my god, he would just share so much amazing stuff with me. But that's all it is.

Help other people achieve what they want in life and you'll yourself achieve what you want as well. Sure, I started making money but more importantly, each person I helped opened up a new door for me Media mazing new people all over the world and sharing my ideas. I mean, I've been able to open up my world in so many different ways because everyone has great ideas. I don't have enough time now to hear everybody's great ideas. But when I hear a great one, I love running with it. So that opened up a lot of doors for me, the other people who, you know, you just you're starting off from ground zero, help other people get their start or help other people first and you're you're you yourself are going to be helped.

But beyond all that the real hidden benefit has been seen someone else's life change from my help, and that's what this business is about for me. I guess if you hear it and that's probably the same for you to my right. If so, then you need to sign up for my sales funnel secrets live. Normally I charge 1000 to attend. But to do you're going to I'm going to allow you to do these two cool things. I'm gonna give you a huge discount you're only gonna pay if you like it right.

So there I am trying to monetize it again. Then I come to my CTA. So my CTA is then finally Hey, last call. That special offer is going away today, what's special offer, they just joined my email list. But that's how you want to do it. You want to enter in, in the middle of a thought, that's the best way to have call to actions.

Yes, if you read this email tomorrow, then I apologize. It'll be too late. If you take this class later, you'll have to pay at least $300. But I might put it back to its full price of 997 by them as well haven't decided yet. And I do do that if people don't if people visit that link within those first few emails because I use what's known as Click Funnels. They allow me to redirect those pages after a certain amount of time.

Hey, person a saw this page two days ago, great. redirect them towards the 297 offer. Hey, Person B just saw this offer today. Well, guess what? Since it's his first time viewing it, he's going to see the discounted price. So it's really cool to be able to do these things.

But after a certain time expires usually about I think it's five days for me in case someone happens to click through on the first day for some reason, then by day five, when this has been introduced, it's going up to $300 by the end of the day. So if you want to take me up on my try before you buy offer and go through the entire three and a half hour training before you spend a dime, and this was an early version, whereas three and a half hours now it's like five and a half, then go get your ticket ASAP here, and that's it. No fake prices increases. You've been warned. I don't I don't want to emails tomorrow saying I didn't warn you. So go get your ticket, and I'll see you on the training.

And then that's all this is about is loops loops are pulling reader from email one into re email to email to pose reader an email three, you you'll always open up a loop, but you won't close it until the next day. All right, the next email you'll so Oh, so here's this thing I was about to show you today. Discover it tomorrow and I'll tell you what it was all about. And then you close that tomorrow, write the next email, and then you open up another loop and then you don't close That one, you say, hey, what I was talking about today, I'm going to talk about tomorrow. So tune into that email, and then you close that loop from the day before and then you open up a new loop. And it works really well.

Now, this should really be for your first five emails, you can do this forever, if you want, really, it works forever. But at the Seinfeld sequence, you can kind of make them broadcast one time emails where it's like, Hey, you know, maybe this may be a sequence of like, 1234 or five days in a row talking about one thing, maybe a launch. It's really big and I want a lot of build up for it. Or it may just be one time things where it's like, here's this item. Here's this product. Did you hear about this?

Here's a freebie, something, whatever it is, those Seinfeld's can be blips on the radar. But when it comes to the soap sequence, it needs to be a loop that keeps dragging people through over and over throughout that entire time. sequence. Whenever you open up one loop, close it on the next email and open up another one for the subsequent day to answer and close. So once you have that, that's literally the exact soap opera sequence that I use. I'm going to give you one more example.

So that way it's a little bit different from the make money online. But you can understand the exact same setup, how it goes through, setting that stage, having that point of high drama, having the Epiphany, the hidden benefits, and then finally that call to action.
