This section gives an overview of the course. It describes how the course is set up and taught. It explains where to find the specific video, audio, and print files that will be used in each section. It also describes my hands-on approach to learning that emphasizes the use of exercises and activities.
This section introduces the field of Acceptance and Commitment (AC) Coaching and shows how I integrate it with Sex Coaching. It describes the roots of AC Coaching in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and explains how coaching and therapy clients are similar and different.
This section takes a deep dive into the subject of human sexuality from an AC coaching perspective. It focuses on the six dimensions of Sexual Identity; biological sex, gender identity, gender role, sexual orientation, sexual behavior, and sexual response.
Mindfulness is used extensively by AC Coaches. It is particularly well suited to sex coaching. This section will be broken down into two lectures. In the first lecture we will discuss formal mindfulness training. In the second lecture we'll discuss informal mindfulness training. Both play a part in AC Sex Coaching.
Acceptance is a cornerstone of AC Coaching. In this section you will learn how to help clients accept troubling thoughts and painful emotions while working towards meeting their coaching goals.
This section explores the nature of sexual values. Values clarification is a key part of AC Coaching. Having clear sexual values helps clients get unstuck and move towards the sex life they want and deserve.
Acceptance and commitment are flip sides of the same coin. Acceptance is the cognitive part and commitment is the action part. In this section you'll learn how to help clients develop values-based sexual goals and act on them.
The observing self view is a new way to look at the mind. It allows clients to step back view what their mind is telling them about sex from the detached, more objective framework of the observing self view..
Disentanglement refers to techniques that are used to help clients understand and get rid of unhelpful thoughts and feelings that keep them stuck in a sexual rut. It builds on techniques learned in the Observing Self section.
This final section shows you how to integrate the principles and practices of AC Sex Coaching into your private practice.

The 10 CEU training course is designed for coaches whose clients seek relationship coaching because they are stuck in a rut related to intimacy and sexuality and need help getting unstuck. The course integrates Acceptance and Commitment (AC) Coaching principles and practices into sexual relationship coaching. It focuses on the information and skills coaches need to help clients in committed relationships increase their intimacy and sexual satisfaction. It is not a sex therapy course and is not intended to guide in working with clients with diagnosed sexual disorders.
