Restorative yoga is a therapeutic form of yoga that induces a gentle, calming response in the body and nervous system. Your body is supported through the use of various props such as bolsters, blankets, and pillows. The introductory video will show you the propping you will need to gather before getting started. The main video includes an introduction to the practice, an intention-setting meditation, modeling of the six poses throughout along with a verbal guide, and a closing integration meditation. You will be guided in and out of each of the six set-ups and offered a meditative verbal guide to build concentration and mindfulness throughout the practice.
