About the Class

Congratulations on taking the initiative to invest in yourself for the better.

This course will run through 2 factors that impact on weight and health. When it comes to losing weight and being healthier we tend to focus all of our energy on nutrition and exercise, which is vitally important. However, there are also two major contributors to weight gain that not many people put a focus on, and those two factors are stress and sleep, or lack of sleep to be more specific. Stress adn sleep effect weight and health in general just as heavily as nutrition and exercise. They are known to be the 4 parts of overall health. This is why I have created a specific course just on stress and sleep and how they effect your body.

This course will highlight the fundamentals you need to know to be able to control your health in a better and informed way when it comes to stress and sleep. You'll understand the role they play on your body and how they change your body positively or negatively.

This course covers 2 essential parts of health:

  • Relaxation (Reduced stress)

Topics - Lifestyle, stress hormones, and effects to the body, practices to reduce stress, benefits of reduced stress

  • Sleep

Topics - Effects of lack of sleep, sleep debt and what it is, practices for better sleep, benefits of sleep.

There is a starter module on mindset at the beginning of this course also. This is added due the difficultly of creating change in our lifestyle. In order to succeed moving forward, we need to put ourselves in the right mind frame, in order for us to get the right strategy, so we can achieve the right result. Change can be difficult especially when we are trying to change something we've been so accustomed to such as our current lifestyle. So this mindset module will hopefully get you into a state where you are ready to change.

I understand that everyone lives a different lifestyle and each body is individualized, meaning that each person will improve at different rates in different ways. The most important fact is that we decide to make a start to self-improvement. These topics covered are designed to help people in all aspects of health. If you lack in one aspect, you can pick up in another. This was designed so that you can work on your strengths with the lifestyle that you have. It is focused on small simple changes in all areas of health that combine to make lasting change.

After the completion of this course, you can expect to understand how stress and sleep affects your health. You will also know how to change each aspect with the methods given. Choose a simple method from each aspect and notice the difference as time goes on. Keep things simple for yourself, little changes in different areas will combine to make the changes that you desire.
