Verse two of Freddy kings heads up starts out with a variation of what he played at the beginning of the song over the one or over the first position, G bar chord, he starts out the verse like this. So most of that is exactly the same as what we played at the beginning. But if you notice, this time I do this. I go to the fifth fret of the second string, and I'm pretty much playing exactly what we played over the four over the see before but this time we're playing it over the G. So let me show you the two back the back. Here's how he started the song. And here's how he starts the second verse.
Slight difference there. Now one thing I'm going to point out here is that when you play this, there's a couple of things ways you can do this. And if you listen to Freddy kings heads up real carefully, you hear him, I think doing both of these. And one thing you can do is just hammer on from the third fret to the fourth fret like that. Another thing you can do is do a little bit of a hammer on pull off trail. And then the third option is to play a double stump, like he does over the sea.
And we just play that exactly the same way that we did over the sea before. So if you listen to the song, he kind of mixes that up throughout. I have a tab that exactly note for note for each verse so you can see exactly what he does. So that's how he starts out the second verse. And then the second verse, just like the first verse, he's gonna play over the C, same thing. That little part right there, and then back to the G again.
Then after he played over the sea, he goes back to the G just does this again before heading in to the slides for the five to the four to the one So one more time. Then verse two ends up just like first one we got the slide into the end tech. Verse number two then ends the same way verse number one did with this lick. So just play that pretty much exactly the same way. You can check the tab and check the lesson for verse one to get that
