Out front was recorded in 1961 and also appears on the hideaway and dance way LP. It's in the key of E and the three courts that you that the song is played over our E A and B seven. A lot of the song is built on this really cool bass riff played over each of those courts. There are two solos. And in those solos Freddie plays in a variety of positions in the key of E, including some really cool double stops. There are three stop times in the song, which makes it interesting and also some really cool sliding double steps, something similar to what we heard in the song hideaway.
