So when we look at the B do have, there's four different ways of saying this and only one of them will work. So a lot of people have the attitude that if I had certain things that I would do more, and therefore I would be more others have the idea that if I have, if I had more things, I be a different person, and therefore I do more. And then there's the people that say, if I do the things, I would have more and I would become a different person. All these three are really blaming your current circumstances on other people could be, you know, your parents economy, lack of money. They're always looking at the external things and not looking within. So let's use the example of the have Dubey.
You know, for persons says he wants to do more entertaining, if only I had a new house, I do more entertaining, and therefore I'd be come more popular. If I had a new house, I'd be more popular and therefore I do more entertaining. Or I would do more entertaining, if I had a new, a bigger house, and I'd be more popular. All of those items are looking at the external side of life. And these are states and beliefs that really you know that they're very familiar when you listen to people talk, but they're not the one that will actually enable you to get to where you need to go. If you become more popular and more trained, will say you'll be able to do the work that needs to be done in order to have the new house that you want.
So if you become more a better employee or get a better job, then you can do more with that. And you can have the things that you want and therefore to go full circle for you. So success achievers believe in the be do have, I will become a better person and do the things that I need to do to have the things that I want. So again, we come back to the self image. And when we look at self image, everybody knows that self image is a very difficult thing. For most people, a majority of people have a poor self image.
And a lot of that has come from their childhood, from other people. It's not it's being driven by external sources, and that's not really fair to them. Yet most people do not take the time to read it. find their self image and build new habits and new attitudes to create that self image that will enable him to break free from the image in which other people have put into them into their minds. So that they can attain the goals that they desire. And this is where we have to talk about mental authority and taking over our own minds and develop an affirmation statements to enable us to have the be do have attitude.
So, I hope I explained that correctly, that a lot of people have images in their mind about themselves self images, we call them that have been derived from childhood. And you are, you are not necessarily that person for the rest of your life. Everybody can change everybody can improve their self image their education. their talents, their physical abilities, all these things can be improved upon. There's nobody that is stagnant in life. If you're stagnant in life you're dying.
That's that's the old saying. So you need to focus on changing your mental self image of yourself so that you can improve. And that's where we'll go to next.
