The Vata dosha consists of the elements air and space, which means it's also going to hold the qualities of those elements, which are dry light, cold, rough, subtle, mobile and clear. Now, before we move on with the thought to Doshi, I want you to remember that we are all a combination of all three energies just in different proportions.

As we discuss each of them. Please note that the descriptions of each OSHA's physical traits and personal analogy will be described as a textbook example. So as if this person didn't hold any of the characteristics or traits associated with the other doses, it bought too dominant person will generally have a smaller frame, protruding joints that crop a lot. And they're either going to be very short or very tall, they might tend to have an oval face, smaller eyes, darker skin, and dry skin. And when I talk about darker skin, I don't mean that a particular ethnicity is going to be more thought to dominant. So understand this we have to backtrack a little thinking about when ru VEDA first came about, which is about 5000 years ago.

So if we take ourselves back to that time, the odds are a different ethnicity. being seen in India was very rare. So when they did Ru, Vedic consultation or Vedic consultations or use it as their health system. They were looking in their own ethnicity at skin tones and skin types. So this means that if you are Caucasian and you have darker olive skin, you might be bought to dominant and the same if you are Hispanic or you are Native American, just depending on your ethnicity and then within that ethnicity, your range or darkness of your skin. And just a side note, I know that can get confusing now as we're Our world is becoming a more or is becoming a larger melting pot.

It is kind of hard to decide by looking at this, but we have lots of other markers that we can look at to figure out our Gosha the personality of a Vata vatos love to move and talk and talk with their hands. They tend to be inconsistent, intuitive artistic and imaginative and this means they have a harder time keeping any schedule or a routine, although that would benefit them greatly as to pacify the psychological imbalances they're prone to which are distractions, fear, alienation, anxiety, delusions, worry, depression and insomnia. And an extreme example of a mental Vata imbalance would be hallucinating or hysteria. When we take a look at the physical imbalances, Vata is prone to for the most part, we don't have to look much further than the lower part of the body. While the doses are everywhere within us, they each have a particular region they tend to accumulate and Vata is in the hips, lower back legs and the joints.

With this they are prone to bloating, aches and pains in the hips. back end joints, poor circulation, muscle spasms, constipation, asthma, exhaustion, depletion and Disney dizziness. If we stop for a moment, take a look at this list of the imbalances Vox has prone to we can also see how they correlate with the qualities of that go shop. For example, the dry quality of Vata is what causes our joints to snap crackle and pop. With a bit bit of gentle movement or mindful exercise such as yoga we can produce synovial fluid which will help lubricate our joints. Looking at the digestion and metabolism of Vata, we can see that because of the mobility quality, their appetite tends to vary and their digestion is inconsistent.

The times of day Vata is highs between 2am and 6am and 2pm and 6pm. Now, what does this mean? It means that we will see more about those qualities in our bodies and our minds cold, light, mobile and dry. This also means these tend to be the times of day where our mind can either be a little more creative, daydreaming or anxious.

Between the hours of 2am and 6am is often the time when those experienced but experiencing thought to sleep imbalances tend to wake due to worries or worries or overthinking ru VEDA recommends waking up during this bought two time before 6am as it will make you feel lighter and energized for the day. Since you're waking up with those Vata qualities that moving energy ru VEDA recommends that between the hours of 2pm and 6pm to use the mobility and the mind to plan the following day and to make to do lists take advantage of the creative characteristics.
