Hi and welcome in this amazing course probably before we start any learning steps you'd like to know a little bit more about me Who am I? That I'm so proud to present you this new course. My name is Martin. I've been teaching Photoshop for over five years and I've been professional retoucher. For over two years. My work has been published in international magazines.

And today I'm coming with something different. Most of my courses most of my teaching was always focused on the retouching, but they know how important are other parts of Photoshop, not only for retouching, but also for other creative work, like photo manipulations for design. So that's why I come up with the idea of creating the course that will be about selections and masks. So why selections and why masks First of all, if you work with photo manipulation, if you work with design, you need to know selections you need to know the basic selection tools which are very useful for certain work mostly very simple work, and other creative selection tools that you could use for more complicated photo manipulation work. Also why masks because mask are absolutely crucial for understanding Photoshop if you want to work as a retoucher, designer. If you want to work as an a creative artist in Photoshop, you need to know masks because masks allows you to create amazing contrast of the image have control online shadows have control on a specific color.

The specific area you can choose gives you amazing comfort of and insert the elements to your image. And really the possibilities are limited. So that's why I was thinking how important is this. So I split this course into two different parts. The first part is basic. When are we going to learn selections, I'm going to introduce your basic selection tools and then process into more complicated tools.

And then smooth from that, we're going to move into the masks. And once again, I'm going to explain you what are masks, how to create them how they look like, which is not very complicated. And what's so important about mark so when the mask is visible when it's invisible, all the terms that for now maybe doesn't clear. So simple, but later on, it will be all explained from very beginning in creating and working with the masks that allow you to have full control on any advanced tasks you could think. So right now I believe is enough talking. If you'd like to Have a little bit more information about me just Google my name.
