Practical Ways to Help Manage Depression and Anxiety for Migraine Sufferers Using CBT, Strategic Journaling and Mindfulness-based Techniques.

In the first video, we’ll cover some basics - like how to even know if you have anxiety and some alarming statistics. And we’ll touch on suicidal thoughts and other risks involved.

I’ll show you - 3 Tips to Reduce Anxiety ASAP.

We’ll look at natural solutions and what treatments yield the best results for migraine, anxiety, and depression? The 4 treatments if you have all three conditions.

You’ll learn some key things that help anxiety & depression AND some key things to do if you get migraines.

That’s all in the first video.

In Module #2 I’ll walk you through a Strategic Journaling Process.

In Module #3 we go over a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT method for easing Anxiety, using a worksheet that you can use again and again to help cope with that pre-migraine anxiety and the continued worry and stress. Let’s face it… your anxiety can spiral out of control if you’re living in constant fear of your next attack.

In Module 4 and 5 we’ll look at a new way to see your depression that I call 'redecorate your pit of depression', to make it a safe home away from home to recover in.

Module #6 provides an innovative and self-evolving Tapping technique to help you confront and shift your blocked energy.

And last but not least, my top movement exercises from Qigong to help lift depression, reduce anxiety and relieve tension often caused by repeated migraine attacks.

P.S. A Qigong Master demonstrates for us!

If you're struggling with one of these debilitating health conditions, or all three, don’t let them spiral out of control and ruin your life. Come get some help right now in the comfort of your own home and in your own space and time.

Welcome!

When I was first diagnosed with migraines over 25 years ago, I was terrified. I was in my early 30's, and I felt completely alone. I was given medications that made me worse, and then sent to a psychiatrist and a dietitian to sort it all out in just three visits. Medical interventions and resources were scarce, and no one I knew could relate.

My absence was causing trouble at work, and my relationship did not withstand the relentless, disabling pain episodes.

My life was turned upside down. I went from being a super-charged, super-athletic, intelligent woman to feeling so angry at my body and afraid I would die from the unbearable cycles of pain. What followed was both bad and good: 14 years of no effective pain relief and finding meditation and therapies that helped emotionally.

Years later I was further burdened with more chronic conditions. I was so fatigued I couldn’t get out of bed. The severe pain now included total body pain, everywhere. This put an end to pursuing career opportunities and social activities. I thought my life was over. Again! The life I once knew was definitely over.

It took me many years with the help of a professional team of experts before I started to accept my illnesses and to become well enough to function in life. I then began to create a new life I now love.

After 16 years of counselling individuals and couples, I set out and accomplished a Master’s degree in Counselling and Applied Psychotherapy (MCAP). With numerous diplomas including: nutrition, Shiatsu massage, Chinese Medicine (acupressure and acupuncture) and healing modalities, I've become a well-rounded, empathetic and proficient consultant for anyone suffering chronic pain.

I also decided to create the online resource I wished I’d been able to find when I was first diagnosed. A one-stop support system to share all I have learned so you don’t make the same mistakes I did. I want to give you something to believe in again and help you stop the pain cycle... to end needless suffering where possible.

In 2009, www.MigraineSavvy.com was born. I now provide people with practical resources, deeply personal experiences, and learned resilience skills. From one little idea grew a big website, a few courses, and an e-book, to provide you with just that - a step by step process you can follow to sort out your pain management strategy and tame emotional chaos as fast as possible.

I'm only a click or two away if you need me. Click here to contact me.
