Just take a step back and realize that my right eye is not the same as the left one, it's a little bit disproportionate. So again, can't stress it enough that you need to take breaks. And look at your painting from a little bit of a distance or take a photograph of it so you can see if something is off to be able to fix the problem while you're still can. Because if, for example, I would continue drawing and work on the I, as I was planning to, I will definitely not be able to tweak the eye shape after that. So it's very useful to take breaks and evaluate where you are. Okay, now I think it's better everything else looks Pretty much proportionate.

Okay, so now I would like to work on this area that's right above the eyes or around the eyes I would say I need I take red okra and burn Sienna or they're very similar and adding a little bit of formatting just a little to make this brown color. A little darker. did not add to black. If you want to make a color darker, it will only make it flat and muddy. What you need to do when you Want to make the color darker and tone darker you need to add a complimentary color which is the opposite color on the color wheel that I showed you in colors hidden class. Alright, so now we need to create this pattern above the eye.

I'm not making one straight line I'm trying to create this kind of like dots, dot like moves. I'm also mixing it up with our detailed read or some very bright orange share I also don't really want it to be super sharp. So I blend it but to stiletto besides I think I need a little darker tone. So I'm taking more ultramarine blue and mixing it with a burnt sienna just to make it a little bit darker to create the shadow underneath. I think as you can see I'm balancing between a clear color from depen and and mixed color that is a bit darker. And here this same color goes a little bit away to the project that we've been already working on earlier.

I might need a smaller brush to create more delicate strokes. And from here I'm marking the pattern further and it's the same thing I'm mixing up the clean color from the pen which is bright and and juicy with the color that I mixed so those two colors are not exactly the same because it's boring when the colors are just pure color from the palette. You want to play around and See the variety of different tones and colors in your painting rather than just one pure, boring color with the semi wet brush or some pigment, recreating, making like sharp dots to recreate some texture more Part rather than, yeah, it's more like a button on the floor, not really extra. Alright and I will do the same on the other side here Here we go outlining this similar pattern around the eye. I'm mixing up darker tone with lighter tone.

All right, to my opinion, my strokes are on beat too sharp. So I'm trying to make them a little softer by blurring the strokes. With a semi wet brush I think this site or not a little bit too dark, comparing to this one. So what we can do about this is basically add in a little bit of layer lighter layer over here just to brighten up this, this area. This trick might not work if your paper is not very reliable. There is a chance that it might hurt the paper but it really takes time and practice to actually figure out how your paper behaves.

I'm adding some bright spots on tickets for Make it more interesting. And also right now I would like to take our burnt sienna, mix it with a little bit of pilot maybe add some domain to have a specially dark color and work through some patterns I might as well take a smaller brush for this type of work. See that I am not making one straight line. I'm kind of building up this line with short strokes. This allows me to make it look like this line is actually formed by short for sure Hair the cat. If I would make it just one straight line it would look artificial considering that you're painting a kitty and it's also important to stop and not overdo the painting.

And still, it is still watercolor so it should be light and spacious. We don't want to make it to have him. Here I just want to add a few details to show the difference between the hair My strokes are pretty soft. They are soft because the brush is semi wet. It's not very dry. That's why my strokes are pretty soft and not sharp.

Same for this sign Right, here we go. I might move a little bit up the pattern over here above the eyes, so it matches the left eye, more proportionate. Those are just few details and I think our face is done. Pretty lovely. And let's move to the final part which is painting the three body of the cat.
