Hey guys, Max Jacobs here and welcome to the attract worksheet. Now, the purpose of this worksheet is to determine how you're going to attract customers and clients. The same model applies whether or not you're running an online business or an offline business. But the model is the same. It's all about marketing, and sales. So let's go through the worksheet.

So the first question online or offline, is your business online or offline? It might be both headed people find you. So mate online, then that's kind of the next question. So it's it's really important that if you're starting in business, you need to get online you need that you need to have an online presence and less than online base where people and people can find you. So this this next sections that determining how you're going to attract customers or clients through marketing. So the first section is about social media.

So what social media platform Are you going to use is really Polling that you, you start using one, at least one. So what are you going to use? So I use Facebook so yes use Facebook and and while I do have an Instagram account, I don't I don't use it. So it's really important that you focus on using one master that and then start include other ones down the track. So yeah, you might plan on using that yes, you might plan on using LinkedIn as well. And maybe you use maybe you use use Snapchat.

But it's important to note that you're going to start off with one master then move on to the next day. The notes section you might write first step master Facebook. Then three months down the track. Open up an Instagram account. Something like that. And you might might create a LinkedIn account just to have a presence just to have that presence there so people can find you, but you might not be active on it.

But you can you can put aside half an hour just create a LinkedIn account just to just to have that presence. Cool. So next question. So this is all about the website to help you set up your website. Now, you've got two options. You can either create it yourself, or you get someone else to do it, or recommended doing it yourself because with the right thing, it's actually very easy to create your own website.

So I yourself, me What thing we use, I recommend using anything from Elegant Themes. If you look up, Elegant Themes, just do Elegant Themes. You find a number of things that to me Use a theme called Divi. And what what domain we use, it's really important to come up with a good domain that actually speaks to your audience that actually says Who is that who you are. You don't want to go something random. I don't want to go something too long either.

Needs to be nice and short succinct, and and pretty much pretty much tells people what it is that you do. So for me, for proof entrepreneur, it's important to check that it is actually available before you start creating a website before you start creating a Facebook account before you start telling people what it is that you do and what your business name is that just make sure the domain name is available first, and then go from it. So you can put some notes in the website section. For example, you might create the website. actions might be your first one is correct website. And just run a blog to start with.

You might run, create landing pages to our marketing campaigns that you do that behind the scenes, But people can still get redirected to those landing pages from different adverts that you run. So create landing pages. Yeah, so you get the point. So let's go on the next page, the second page, second and last page. So, again, this is still the same, just fill out the sections below in as much detail as possible. But the first question we got here is, are there any apps available that will help people find your business location?

Now, this is really to do with people that run a bricks and mortar business. So if you run a bricks and mortar business, an offline business, this is a question for you. Now, if you're on a cafe, for example, a great app out there is bean Hunter. It's a it's an app I go on regularly to find out What cafes, getting the best reviews for the coffee. And that they make. And there's so much more information, not just reviewing the coffee, but all the different coffee beans, they use the equipment they use, and, and so forth.

So that's a really good app that really, a lot of people go to first up before they go there. If the reviews aren't high enough, people aren't going to go there. So it's a, it's a great app to not really use yourself, but be aware of it. Be aware that you need to get your business on there so that people can actually find you. And there's a lot of apps out there. Whether it's a cafe or restaurant, there's a lot of apps out there that you need to register your business name on, so that people can actually find you.

So that's that question. Yeah, the next question is to do with media outlets. So if you've got a powerful story, which I'm sure you do, and plan on reaching out to different media outlets like newspapers, radio shows, and online podcasts, they're actually believe it or not, they're actually often very kind of fond stories like yours. Especially if you live locally, so I plan to reach out to some media outlets. So the first one you'd want to do is a local newspaper, then a local radio show, and maybe an online podcast. But um, yeah, if you reach out to them and then and then spread out from there, then go, you know, just statewide, then you could even go national.

But yeah, by doing that, you're gonna be able to get your story out there, most of the time for free, and you're gonna be able to tell people your story, give them something to some sort of value and, and get them to get directed back to you know, your online base. So that's pretty much it there. So let's go through the last section. So what kind of marketing campaigns you're going to run? So I have put a list of different marketing campaigns together is a promise some of the most common marketing campaigns and the first is and Opportunity adverts. So this is a simple ad that you might run from your Facebook page.

So it's paid advertising. But a simple ad that you would run that pretty much tells people, what you offer, what your services what your product is, and you get them to fill out a form. And then it might redirect them to a landing page. But bottom line is they see the ad, they're interested, they might give you your give you their details that either an email address or a phone number, and then you can contact them. The second marketing campaign I've got here is a lead magnet. Some people also call it a hook marketing campaign.

It's really just a it's a, it's it's very similar to the op ed. But instead of saying, there's a good opportunity here for you to get this product or service, you actually saying here's a free giveaway. here's the here's a cheat sheet, or here's a swipe file. here's here's something that I think is a value to you, and then I download it, usually in exchange for an email address or phone number so you can contact them Yeah, the next marketing campaign I've got here is a video ad. And this is, as you can see, I'm going I'm going down the list in it that the the marketing campaign is getting more and more complex with more and more effort required from from your end. So with a video ad, it's a, you pretty much run just a normal advert maybe through your Facebook page, through Facebook business page.

And that advert would redirect people to a landing page that has a video on a really cool video that people watch a video that gives them a lot of value that a video that goes from sort of like five to 10 minutes you could do do a longer video but a video that gives them lots of really cool content on a really hot topic. Like usually has an actionable step at the end. Like if you enjoyed this video, he's he's a he's a free download or or you know booking a session with me and I can talk to you further about it. That way you get their their email address or phone number to contact Take them again. And the the next marketing campaigns a challenge. So these are great things to really get paid one boat at depending on what it is that you're offering or you're doing, you can always run a challenge and they and you could you could run challenges online or offline challenge online would be like a free seven day challenge where people people sign up to it, they get added to like a secret Facebook page and you give them content over over seven days and you do some videos you talk to them and and you really help them out and try to try to get them to achieve some results in those seven days.

But also run a seven day challenges that's offline as well doesn't have to be on a Facebook page, maybe. Maybe it's something that you literally get a group together and for seven whole days, you made up for half an hour, seven days in a row and yeah, and you go through some different strategies on on something, whatever it is that you're offering. And then the last marketing campaign I've got here is a webinar. So you credit an advert. For example, a Facebook ad for a live webinar that you run Soon. And it's going to be on a really hot topic that people really want to know that maybe, maybe you, maybe you're really good at it, you're really good at marketing.

And you want to tell people how to market it, how to run a Facebook ad, and you'd run a live webinar on how to do that. So those are some basic marketing campaigns. And as you can see, you go through the list, I get more and more complex and require more and more effort, but you often provide more more value, which builds trust even further, and allows people to really see that that you are trying to help them and that you do have a good product or service to offer. So I've also included a marketing Notes section for the marketing campaign. And so you can, I guess, write a note on on the different marketing campaigns that you want that you want to run so that you can do action steps. The first marketing campaign is an iPad and you might do that this week.

Then we went to You run a lead magnet like three like wait three, you might run a video ad and yet you get the point. So that's pretty much it for this video.
