Are you trying to conceive after infertility, loss, preemie, or a previous high-risk pregnancy? Whether you're trying to conceive naturally, or are in the middle of fertility treatment, you know there's more to your fertility health than just meds, vitamins, and nutrition and you're ready to go all in.

If that sounds like you, Then you are absolutely at the right place! There is one factor related to fertility that doesn't get enough attention: stress.

Here's the truth: Stress affects both male and female fertility. Here's what we know:

Stress during the ovulation window, the research showed, translated into a three-month delay in conception. (Akhter, et al. 2016).

Stress is harmful to sperm and semen quality affecting motility (how sperm moves), morphology (its shape), and the ability to fertilize an egg. (Columbia University 2014)

Women who worked to reduce stress during an IVF cycle had more than double the pregnancy rates compared to the women who were not actively managing their stress. (Domar, et al., 2011)

The problem is that most stress management programs focus on anxiety reduction when anxiety is only one of MANY triggers of stress in your body. Grief, guilt, fear, lack of sleep, inflammation, physical pain, dehydration are also just as powerful as anxiety to trigger a stress reaction in your body.

What will you learn in this course?

  • How physical and emotional stress impact female and male fertility (yes, both matter!)
  • What to do when you're carrying stress from previous pregnancies and/or losses when trying to conceive now
  • Why pre-pregnancy stress matters for the health of your future baby
  • The ways physical and emotional stress can interfere with fertility treatments
  • How to recognize if your stress response is on and affecting your fertility
  • The different physical and emotional triggers that are keeping your stress response on
  • Tips and tools to turn off your stress response and how to keep it off even when you get bad news or you're anxious during the 2ww
  • A personalized plan on how to optimize your fertility

This is not your typical, "be positive", "just relax" and "breathe deeply" type of workshop. That advice doesn't work, and we both know that.

This is an epic workshop that is packed with research-backed information and tips to help you better understand your body and your fertility and how you can help yourself get pregnant more quickly. So bring your notebook to take notes.

Who should take this course?

  • Anyone who is trying to conceive (with or without fertility treatment).
  • Action-takers and highly motivated individuals who want to optimize their fertility.
  • Women who are ready to take charge of their health to help themselves get pregnant.
  • Students who are dedicated to learning about their body and how to use that knowledge to help them on their fertility journey.
  • Students who are determined to take actions now that can have long-lasting effects on their fertility and pregnancy health.

This workshop is not right for everyone. It is not right for you if:

  • You are looking for a second medical opinion about your reproductive health.
  • You are looking for a quick-fix, magic cure-all for your stress.
  • You believe stress management is about a positive mindset and deep breathing.
  • You're looking for detailed nutrition and diet advice. We will review general nutrition, but details are beyond the scope of this workshop and should be discussed with a registered dietician.
  • You are already pregnant. Please email us for resources during pregnancy.
