Overview

Cognium Syrup is used for Insomnia, Exertion, Allergic rhinitis, Anxiety, Depression, Psoriasis, Anaesthesia, Alopecia, Epilepsy, Arthritic and other conditions. Cognium Syrup may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Cognium Syrup works by producing certain chemicals that decreases the inflammation; cholinergic upregulation and protein synthesis in the brain; providing inotropic and chronotropic effects; preventing oxidative stress associated with ischemic heart injury; reducing total cholesterol and triglyceride levels; decreasing systolic as well as diastolic blood pressures; inhibiting of the platelet aggregation; improving the growth of hair; providing the strength to the brain and memory; healing the dysentery and depression; healing the various ailments due to the presence of alkaloids constituents; blocking the reduction of the cortisol content of adrenals; possessing antistress activity; inhibiting the stress-induced ulcers of the gastrointestinal tract; decreasing the leucocytosis; blocking the tumour growth; treating the neurodegenerative diseases; producing the analgesic activity; inhibiting the prostaglandin synthesis; preventing or treating diarrhea; relaxing the colon and decreasing the respiratory tract secretions; inhibiting the growth of bacteria; controlling the release of insulin; clearing the airways; possessing the anti-inflammatory activity; suppressing the cyclooxygenase activity and prostaglandin formation; retarding the platelet aggregation; possessing the antioxidant activity; suppressing the activity of the tyrosinase enzyme; possessing the saponin triterpenes, flavonoids and other constituents such as coumarins, sugars, amino acids, tannins, starch, choline, phytosterols;
