Child Psychologist Child psychologists are trained to work with assess and treating development issues with children and adolescents. They work with children and their families to issues including abuse, sexual abuse, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, adjustment disorder, autism, obsessive compulsive disorder, and phobias. Such development issues can arise in children from various life changes including divorce of parents, death in family, and change in school.
Geriatric Psychiatrist Geriatric psychiatrists are doctors specialized in diagnosing and treating mental disorders in elderly. These mental disorders include, but are not limited to anxiety, dementia, schizophrenia, depression and late-life addiction disorders. They combine their knowledge of sociology and psychology to provide specialized care. In addition to this, treatment approach also includes responding and listening to the concerns of their patients. When necessary, they also work with other doctors or specialists to develop an effective treatment approach. They often talk with the patient’s family members in cases when the elderly are suffering from problems like dementia, poor sleep, stress, memory loss, and anxiety.
Neurologist A neurologist is a doctor who practices in neurology. Neurology is the science related to the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system. A neurologist treats disorders affecting nerves, brain, spinal cord and cerebrovascular diseases, such as stroke, headache, movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, infections of the brain and nervous system, Alzheimer's disease, seizures disorders including epilepsy, spinal cord disorders, and speech and language disorders. Neurologists themselves do not perform surgery and if a patient needs surgery, they refer them to a neurosurgeon.
Neuropsychiatrist Neuropsychiatrists are doctors who have specialization in neuropsychiatry, a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders related with both psychiatric and neurological features. They diagnose and treat mental and behavioral disorders caused by conditions affecting the nervous system such as epilepsy, dementia, and head injuries. They often work in clinics, hospitals or research facilities. Neuropsychiatrists are trained and educated to perform neurological exams, which includes assessing a patient's motor functions, reflexes, cranial nerves, coordination, and gait posture.
Pediatrician A pediatrician is a doctor trained and educated in diagnosing and treating childhood conditions and illness. These conditions and illness may range from minor to serious diseases. They are trained in managing the mental, physical and behavioral health issues in children from birth until the age of 18. Duties and responsibilities of pediatrician involve conducting medical examinations, establishing treatment plans, developing diagnoses, communicating with caregivers and parents, providing referrals to specialists, and maintaining patient records. They also provide immunizations according to school or medical guidelines.

Psychiatrists assess all of the mental and physical symptoms by examining mental or physical status, brain imaging such as a computerized tomography (CT), or positron emission tomography (PET) scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and blood testing.
Psychologist A psychologist is a medical doctor who trained in diagnosis, and treatment of a mental illness including schizophrenia, behavioral problems, learning difficulties, depression, and anxiety. Psychologists provide a wide range of treatments including psychological treatment also called psychotherapy or talking therapy, medication, behavioral, cognitive, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, humanistic, and psychodynamic therapy. A psychologist may also use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) criteria to diagnose the mental disease.
Psychotherapist Psychotherapists are the doctors trained in treating people for emotional problems and mental problems by using psychological approaches. A psychotherapist can be a psychologist, psychiatrist, or social worker (among others), depending upon their academic degree. Psychotherapy treats the personal difficulties of the patients. It allows the patient to talk confidentially and openly about their feelings and thoughts with a trained professional. Some of the therapies used by the psychotherapist for the treatment of emotional and behavioral problems are cognitive behavioral therapy, systemic therapies, hypno-psychotherapy, experiential constructivist therapies, and humanistic or integrative psychotherapies.
Sexologist Sexologists are doctors who study human sexuality, including sexual behaviors, interests, and functions. They deal with problems regarding intimacy and relationships and also guide to achieve the best relationship. They mainly resolve sexual issues between the relationships. They conduct one to one sessions for sexual problems.
