A surgical oncologist performs some specific medical test called biopsy for diagnosing cancer and perform certain surgeries for removing the cancerous tumor and their nearby tissue. Some of the common medical procedures performed by a surgical oncologist are imaging technology, chemical and biological therapy, and radiation therapy.
