The list of uses of this medicine are as follows:
  • inflammation of the food pipe (erosive esophagitis)
  • backflow of acidic contents from the stomach into the food pipe (gastroesophageal reflux disease)
  • the occurrence of stomach ulcers related to the repeated use of NSAID's in patients
  • overproduction of acid formation in the stomach (Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome)
  • reduce the risk of rebleeding in patients with stomach or intestinal ulcers who are undergoing endoscopy procedure
