Farooq is a certified Management Consultant with over 14 years of experience as an HR specialist & strategist with top national & multinational companies, namely, British American Tobacco, E-Learning Solutions (Zimbabwe), VEON, Motorola, Etisalat, China Mobile, S&P; Global & United Nations to name a few. To compliment his skills in the field of HR and Strategy, he is also a Certified Trainer & Facilitator by Harvard MMP, with experience of training/coaching over 10,000 individuals to date.

In his career, Farooq has held various important positions with renowned multinational companies. In his last assignment as a fulltime HR professional, he was affiliated with VEON as Lead HR Business Partner – Commercial, where he was leading a team of 8 HR Business Partners, providing nationwide HR support to the Commercial Division.
